MicroMécanique outillage en carbure de tungstène

History

Over 80 years’ experience:
Precision is our gold standard, not an option

MicroMécanique was founded in 1938 by two graduates from the prestigious Paris engineering school Les Mines, who hoped to develop the manufacturing process for tungsten carbide. More than 80 years on, the company is still famous for its technical expertise and high-quality manufacturing.

Based in western France near Angers, MicroMécanique machines tungsten carbide tools built to withstand intensive production conditions, and manufactures complex parts and assemblies with micron-level tolerances.

The company regularly invests in new machinery to maintain that success. MicroMécanique currently has 22 employees and a revenue of 2.5 million euros.

When high precision is not an option

For more than eighty-five years, MicroMécanique has helped its customers achieve the performance they need by machining extremely high-quality tools and components.

MicroMécanique is always seeking innovative solutions (investing in high-tech equipment, learning about demanding materials, creating a design office) to meet the most demanding technical requirements. Originally renowned for its tungsten carbide tools, MicroMécanique is continually expanding its precision micro-machining and micro-assembly activities to meet the needs of its customers in France and across the globe for ever smaller components.

Man and machine

The men and women at MicroMécanique are passionate about what they do and have an expert command of the entire manufacturing process for the most complex mechanical parts and assemblies. Our turners, millers, grinders, EDM eroders and polishers take pride in their work, drawing on their substantial experience. With dexterity and skill, they mostly produce individual parts or very small series.

Our skilled staff, who are dedicated to the company, and regularly renewed machinery, are what make MicroMécanique unique. The parts we manufacture with almost hyperprecision are validated by our quality control team using state-of-the-art, non-destructive testing equipment.
