MicroMécanique outillage en carbure de tungstène

Assembly and micro-assembly

In addition to its precision machining offering, MicroMécanique has extensive expertise in micro-assembly. This activity consists of combining ultra-high-precision machined components to build functional, reliable and durable assemblies. Our specialised technicians work meticulously and skilfully in a climate-controlled environment to guarantee consistent parts while conforming to the most demanding specifications.

Direct industrial applications

Our micromechanical assembly services cater to the specific needs of various sectors:

  • Luxury goods and watchmaking: miniaturised and meticulously crafted assembly, gripping, control fixtures, etc.
  • Medical devices and connectors: fixtures, devices or tools assembled with micron-level precision.
  • Aeronautics, space and defence: robust and reliable assemblies for extreme conditions.
  • Nuclear power and energy: subassemblies withstanding high mechanical and thermal stresses.
  • Engineering and automotive industries: precision tooling and assemblies for small series.

Our assembly types

1. Subassemblies

We assemble microtechnical subassemblies to be integrated into larger devices. These subassemblies consist of high-precision machined parts that are manually adjusted for perfect compatibility with the end product.

2. Complex mechanical assemblies

Our expertise in machining hard materials (including carbide and hardened steels) enables us to create complete mechanical assemblies. These assemblies incorporate several functions (guides, clamps, fixtures, etc.) and guarantee the utmost reliability even in harsh conditions.

3. Brazing, shrink fitting and bonding

Our multi-material assembly processes pair perfectly with our mechanical techniques:

  • Brazing: a process ideal for carbide and steel, to join parts durably by melting a filler metal.
  • Shrink fitting: assembling by thermal expansion to guarantee a perfect fit.
  • Technical bonding: a solution combining strength and precision, suited to sensitive materials or miniature parts.

4. Laser marking for traceability

Each assembly can be identified and traced thanks to our laser marking and engraving system. This process applies serial numbers, Data Matrix codes or logos without altering the mechanical properties, enabling total traceability in accordance with industrial standards.

Capabilities and performance
on technical and hard materials

Our assembly processes cover a wide range of materials:

  • Tungsten carbide: wear-resistant multi-component tools.
  • Hardened steels: robust assemblies to withstand high stress.
  • Industrial ceramics: integration of fragile components with micron-level precision.

Our assembly processes combine machining, fitting, finishing and traceability to deliver turnkey solutions our customers can integrate directly into their production lines.
